It will be one of the best places to see Old Town Alexandria- from the other side of the Potomac.

Created by a group of gentlemen in 1839, the Lyceum society became a place for reading, lectures, and scientific experiments. The stately 19th century greek revival home has been fully restored and is now a museum paying homage to the history of Old Town Alexandria. Tour the museum that gives you access to both 18th century tavern and hotel. Torpedo Factory Art Center The former World War II factory built on Old Town's historic waterfront, is now home to over 80 different studios and galleries, as well as the Archaeology Museum. Stabler-Leadbeater Apothecary Museum The museum is considered by many to be one of the most well preserved apothecaries in the United States. Frequent customers included George Washington and Robert E. Lee. Lee Fendall House This home over a 120 year span served as residents to nearly 40 members of the Lee family! currently undergoing exterior remodeling, take the time to tour this Old Town home.
